2009 Big East XC Championships and MUTC Halloween Party - Oct 31, 2009

On October 31st, 2009, MU will host the Big East Cross Country Championships at UW-Parkside where support is needed from MUTC for volunteering and cheering. That evening, MUTC will be hosting a Halloween party for friends and family of the program at the Old Gym, where music, dancing, light snacks and drinks will be available at a cost of $25 per person. There will also be some great raffle prizes, with all proceeds going to the locker room renovations. If you are interested in attending either, or both events, please complete this quick survey so we can provide you with all the details.

Alumni Run - Aug 29, 2009

Bayview Park. 2 Mile Run with spectators welcome. Women’s race at 10am, Men’s race at 10:30am. Barbeque will follow the race.

Al's Run - September 20, 2008

Alumni Run - August 23, 2008

Thanks to all those who attended the 2008 Annual Alumni Run on August 23rd. It was a great event with roughly 100 people in attendance, including alumni runners, supporters and current athletes. It was great to reunite with many alumni and get to see the current team in action. Alumni came from as far as Kansas City, Minneapolis, Madison and Chicago to name a few. The weather held up and made for some warm, humid but dry conditions.


The Women's race went off at 10am and was a very closely fought race between the alumni and the current team. The current team prevailed with a team score of 24 over the alumni's score of 32.


On the Men's side, the competition was not as close, with the current team finishing 4 runners in the top 5. The closely watched and hard fought Clydesdale race was one of the highlights with alumni throwers well represented. The finish came down to the wire with Jonathon Rosploch out leaned Andy Ballard after an impressive finishing kick.
Overall, alumni of all differing levels of fitness enjoyed the races. Please follow the links below for results from the race:
